Pär Hansson, born October 26:th 1965.

 

About me: I live in Gävle with my wife Marie and daughter Bellisa. My spare time is divided between my family, renovation of our old house, circuit racing and the tinkering with cars that it brings. Professionally I prefer to lead by clearly communicated strategies rather than to steer and control, but of course this is dependant on the situation at hand. I have a broad technical knowledge combined with an apt to creative thinking. Hence, I like to work in technically advanced and/or leadership-wise challenging environments, where my skills come to best use.

2009-                               Korsnäs AB – Line Manager.

Manager of Internal Logistics. Member of Gävle plant management team. Responsibilities: Internal logistics. Supply chain interplant coordination. Member of WCM pilot project steering group. Port Facility Security Officer.

Key achievements: Deploying WCM-oriented leadership in prior of later corporate orders. Creating a team of leaders out of a group of supervisors. Achieving operational control and systems for deviance handling. Top 5% leadership index.

2007 –2009                     SandvikAB – Line Manager.

Vehicle Manager of the transport department. Responsibilities: technical and operational development, transport capacity and maintenance.

Key achievements: Implementation of effective goal oriented management and strategies. Greatly improved productivity and decreased costs. Development of long term capacity planning models. Organic deployment of Lean Maintenance.

 

2006 –2007                     BMP automotive.

Self-employed. Project management and race car chassis engineering / development.

Key achievements: Bonding with Bellisa. Marketing from under. Understanding the social benefits of a workplace.

 

2005 – 2006                    Ericsson AB – Line Manager.

Design responsible for Ericsson’s node related production test systems and operationally responsible for the design staff.

Key achievements: Great improvements in efficiency, output quality and staff empowerment. Top leadership index and highly motivated staff. Deciding to leave. Appointed Management Planning candidate.

 

2003 – 2005                    Ericsson AB – Line Manager.

Design responsible for Ericsson’s radio related production test systems and operationally responsible for the design staff.

Key achievements: Great improvements in effectiveness, quality and staff empowerment. Managed cultural differences well. Appointed Management Planning candidate.

 

2001 – 2003                    Ericsson Radio Access – Line Manager.

Design responsible for most of  Ericsson’s base station power amplifiers, both GSM and UMTS, and operationally responsible for the design staff. A highly demanding position since both project coordination and project staffing were within my responsibilities.

Key achievements: Vast efficiency and quality improvements. Top empowerment and leadership indexes. Appointed Management Planning candidate and Selected Manager (Key Contributor).

 

2000 – 2001                    Ericsson Radio Access – Project Manager.

Responsible for development of the power amplifiers for Ericssons new line of GSM base stations. One of the projects was run with many stake-holders in an international environment.

Key achievements: Managed to run lean and cost effective projects on time in a rather extreme culture of recruitment focus.

 

1990 – 2000                    Vattenfall Utveckling – Project Manager and Specialist.

Various assignments as project manager and specialist consultant with international contacts.

Key achievements: Evolved the materials science concerning repair and reinforcement of large structures such as dams and tunnels using findings within fluid mechanics, physical chemistry and soil mechanics. Developed skills in financing of development projects and to act within a multi-project environment.
